SitiTalkBlog Parrot picked up this power commentary with the almost “prophetic prediction” that “BUHARI WILL END UP THE MOST HATED PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE NATION.” The author of the above commentary, “Lagos Pimpernel” is a blogger who submitted commentary on Sahara Reporters in response to the article “Ethno-Religious Cleansing Of Federal University Dutsinma, Katsina State By Olufemi Opeyemi

Here is “Lagos Pimpernel’s” full commentary:

“Buhari will not be president for ever. The evil men do will live long after them. We will start teaching proper history in Nigeria at a point in the future. Are the strong-willed uninformed decisions that Buhari's administration made from May 2014 not part of our history now? Wait and see, the disgrace is going to be widespread-beyond an individual, beyond his ethnic group, but it will pervade the whole nation. How many invitations is he receiving to go and speak to while people about how corrupt Nigerians are today? White people have started sending him messages of warning openly and covertly-because they are not blind to his mistakes. Do you recall that article in the economists that described Jonathan as clueless? The same article also described Buhari as someone who had a misadventure into politics 30 years earlier but failed to learn anything from the experience-Is that insult not worse than Jonathan's one that was widely reported? Go and read the article, the bigger insult was meant for Buhari in the article not Jonathan. We remember 53 suitcases, we remember that Shagari and other leaders of importance from the North were placed comfortably on house arrest during the misadventure, while other people of other ethnic persuasions like Vice President Ekwueme and then Governor Ajasin who had done NOTHING WRONG were incarcerated in dungeons and made to sleep on the bare floor! We may have forgiven, but we can't possibly forget. I am stating HISTORICAL FACTS AND EVENTS, which lying Mohammed or Adesina or the other dozen or so spin doctors cannot change. You don't meddle with University laws-there are about 6 laws governing how universities are run. Buhari's unqualified Minister of Education similarly tried to do same stupid moves with 2016 University admissions recently. When cattle now rearers occupy the presidency, should the rest of us now allow them to continue to behave like their cattle?...I am sorry, I am angry at these reports because I have done my homework and they were found true. These practices are pervasive today in the country and Nigerians cant stand it anymore. It is the sole reason our economy is floundering because power has been placed in the hands of people who don't understand the power (if he did, why would he need emergency powers) and people of good will REFUSE TO TELL IT AS IT IS (shame on all of you Obasanjo, Abdulsalami, Anyaoku, Sani Mohammed, Soyinka inclusive). Buhari remains the luckiest president in Nigeria, with the most good will-despite the closeness of the poll results! I say luckiest, not the smartest, the most qualified, the best for Nigeria or anything. Time and chance have placed him there, because ALL were fed up with GEJ and the PDP, but It is not that Buhari has squandered the goodwill that bothers me, what bothers me is that HE IS SQUANDERING THE GOODWILL with no plans to change course and no end in sight. These issues are more emotional and more important to the progress and tranquility of the nation than collecting stolen money from Deziani and Dasuki, trust me. My prediction? BUHARI WILL END UP THE MOST HATED PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE NATION. We will end up using him as an example of how not to be a president! Policies are inconsistent and arrogant at all fronts. is it everything GEJ administration that is bad? Why don't you pick good things and build on it and change the not so good ones? I am FED UP, but I am a Nigerian and I don't rear cattle!”
